This Is Why You Hire a Local Guide | Montevideo, Uruguay

I took the ferry from Buenos Aires to Montevideo and spent the day with Mirtha, a tour guide of 31 years. She got us into the presidential building because she asked. We met Miguel in his gallery, open since 1982, then walked into a working bank with a museum inside. And yes, you find out why Uruguay has so many tiles.
